A Ryokan is a traditional Japanese hotel that has Japanese-style guest rooms with bed and board. At Ryokan Yamatoya Honten, however, you will have the option to reserve a room with or without a meal.
There are traditional Japanese-style guest rooms of spacious rooms that are capable of accommodating a family. Experience the Japanese style comfort with soft futons laid out on tatami mats.

This is the standard-style guest room. It is at a modest size and equipped with a bath and toilet. We recommend it for who would not prefer to use the communal bath.
Our finest guest rooms are located on the Upper floors (5th floor and above), overlooking the Dotonbori River.
The glorious night views of Osaka city with glowing neon lights of the Dotonbori area will truly be memorable evening in Osaka. These guest rooms include toilet and bathing facilities.
As there are only 8 rooms in the entire ryokan, we recommend you to make a reservation as early as possible.

We also offer you the experience of try to put on Japanese kimono with free of charge. Please feel free to ask the staff on check-in.
Although Japanese-style ryokan often have a curfew, we operate 24 hours, and the guests may freely go out and come back at any time. You can leave your luggage before check-in and after checkout. Please fully enjoy yourself in Osaka.
